This is a portion of the hoard (above). I purchased a graduated set of Dalmatian Jasper beads when I first started making jewelry. I remember getting these on eBay about 7 or 8 years ago!I never used them because I didn't know how to showcase them properly. But, knew they were meant to be in a necklace. When I first started out making jewelry I was only creating bracelets. So, the Dalmatian Jasper sat and sat.
I don't know if I hoarded the Dalmatian Jasper because I liked them so much or because they were expensive or because I simply didn't have a design in mind. Then one day I knew it was time for them to see the light of day...

"Stonehenge" |
I created "Stonehenge" using the hoard! I always like to incorporate vintage beads (the black bead link chain) into my designs. There's a lot of stringing involved in this piece (at least for me). I've been working hard since last year on my necklace designs since necklaces have always intimidated me. I hope you enjoy what I created. :)PS...if you get a chance to do a web search on Dalmatian Jasper you will see the healing properties associated with the stone. It's very interesting!
