Hope everyone is having a wonderful winter season! Above are the earrings that are shown in the winter issue of Stringing magazine. To order a pair just like the one's shown above, purchase here, or send me a message on etsy (via etsy convo) for a custom order. This is a limited edition design, so they won't be around long!

So excited! Thank you Stringing {my heart earrings are shown on pg 2}!

Many moons ago when my boys where just babies, Stringing magazine was the very first magazine that I found to 'teach' me how to create jewelry. I'm very honored to be included in this issue of their magazine! When I received my issue yesterday in the mail, my boys (who are now teenagers) where the first ones to see my work published. :) -Roxanne Str Winter11 Toc

Some of my favorite designs for Fall...

And cupcakes!

I know the cupcakes aren't a Fall color but pale yellow frosting is my favorite. ;)
I took this pic one sunny afternoon.

Faux Patina Beads {Turquoise}

A couple weeks ago I decided to try to create my own {faux} patina beads. I had some rose silvertone metal beads that had been left out and already started to oxidize. I gathered them up and started on my faux patina project! In the end, I wanted them to have a lot of turquoise left on them and only lightly sanded off to see the rose part of the bead. They had a sealer applied twice and I let them dry.

This was a quick weekend project. I have other colors to try next. But now, I can't wait to create some fun summer earrings using these beads!
